Harkness Yoga is a locally-owned business that prides itself on being the first studio in the Coastal Bend to offer classes grounded in LYT Yoga, the only style of yoga created by a licensed physical therapist.  Harkness Yoga wants to help people develop an awareness of body, breathe, and emotions while also finding a balance between stability, mobility, and adaptability so they can live happy healthy lives.

Located in the vibrant Lamar Park Shopping Center, Harkness Yoga is a welcoming space designed around the community’s needs and experiences. The studio has specialized spring floors to help protect the body's joints and mirrorless walls to prioritize feeling the movement while students gain confidence. You will find the same intention outside the studio with Harkness Yoga’s “Namaste by the Bay” events in the community.

Lacey Lawrence


Lacey is bringing a modernized version of yoga to her hometown of Corpus Christi! As the only LYT Yoga certified teacher in the Coastal Bend, Lacey is eager to teach this specialized yoga grounded in the modern teachings of physical therapy and neurodevelopmental treatment.

She first learned about LYT Yoga during her own journey for relief from chronic pain. LYT Yoga was the first exercise practice that provided Lacey not only with relief but also with increased mobility and stability.  After experiencing the powerful benefits of LYT Yoga, Lacey immediately wanted to share the practice with others. She trained with LYT Yoga founder and licensed physical therapist Lara Heiman and received her teaching certificate in 2018. Lacey now applies her own experience to assist her students in a safe practice.

Susanna Beirick


Susanna is a 500RYT Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance, an American Council on Exercise(ACE) Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and ICRT Holy Fire Reiki Master. Susanna completed her 200RYT training in Hatha and Viniyoga with Sadani in Austin in 2014, and her 500RYT training in Austin in 2020, including Yin Yoga training with founder Paulie Zink and Gioconda Parker. She has also trained with Gary Kraftsow, founder of Viniyoga, in alignment based yoga, chant and stress management techniques. Susanna has taught classes for all ages, including Wounded Warriors in Transition, disabled seniors and even ultra marathon athletes. She draws upon these techniques to bring accessible yoga, pranayama, and fitness movement into her classes. She loves working with students of all ages and ability levels, and helping them toembrace the practice of yoga.

kaeli hernandez


Kaeli, born in Honolulu, Hawaii grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. First introduced to yoga in 2013 while getting her bachelors of science degree at The University of Texas at Austin in Health and Kinesiology. From then she was hooked on yoga and completed her 200 Hr and 500 Hr Yoga Alliance training with Michelle Acebo & Gretchen Weber in December of 2017, and January of 2019. Additionally, she graduated from TAMUCC receiving her Masters in Kinesiology. During this time, Kaeli was introduced to reiki, a form of energy healing, and became a certified practitioner herself through Karen Wilson Healing LLC. Some of her interests are cooking, painting, various forms of holistic healing, and supporting her community. Kaeli’s ultimate passion in life is to work with people of all ages and share with them the tools and knowledge she has learned, to enhance their quality of life. She is a student of life and continuously self-studies Ayurveda, herbalism, and anatomy. Specifically, Kaeli believes we have the ability to heal our own bodies in every aspect, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. 



natasha perez


Originally from Maui, Hawaii, she has been around yoga since the age of four, thanks to her first guru, her yogini mother. Natasha’s personal practice on the mat started in 2016 when a string of unprecedented life events forced her to slow down and reevaluate how she was living. Thereafter, she started down a path of personal healing, igniting her passion for holistic wellness and pursuing a certificate in Meditation and Natural Health & Healing from the University of Hawaii on Maui.


Through her personal practice and experience with yoga, Natasha has come to understand that the healing process does not only occur through physical asana, or finding stillness in meditation; instead, the truest form of healing comes from within. As a yoga instructor, she hopes to help clients and students facilitate their own personal healing through the powerful practice of yoga, yogic philosophy, and other yogic tools, such pranayama and meditation. Natasha truly believes that yoga enables healing on all levels: mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually and looks forward to guiding you through your practice.
